Obelisk is a proprietary product of VaultSpark Studios. This page sets out our IP rights and how you may — and may not — use our brand.

Ownership

Obelisk, including its software, design, the Obelisk mark and the Obelisk Halo, the Obelisk Warden, the Obelisk Rating methodology, the user interfaces, copy, and all related materials, is owned by VaultSpark Studios and protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Obelisk is proprietary; it is not open source.

Trademarks

"Obelisk", the Obelisk mark and Obelisk Halo, "the Obelisk Warden", "the Living Fortress", "full-circle security", and "VaultSpark Studios" are trademarks of VaultSpark Studios. The names and marks of VaultSpark Studios ecosystem products are likewise our trademarks. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without our prior written permission.

Permitted brand use

  • You may use the Obelisk name in plain text to refer to the product accurately (nominative use), e.g., "Sign in with Obelisk".
  • You may use unmodified brand assets we provide for the purpose of indicating an Obelisk integration, following any usage rules we publish.
  • You may not modify, recolor, distort, or animate our mark outside the parameters we publish, combine it with other marks, or use it as your own logo or favicon.

Brand assets

Brand assets and usage guidelines (the mark in its variants, color system, motion language, and clearspace rules) are maintained as a single source. Partners and integrators may request access via legal@obeliskgate.com.

Third-party software

Obelisk is built to be install-light and dependency-conservative. Where third-party or open-source components are used, they remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their licenses; this does not transfer any rights in those components to you.

Feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback about Obelisk, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it to improve the Service, without obligation to you.
