Can't use your passkey?
A passkey on another device is the way back in that works on its own: sign in with it, add a passkey for your new device, and remove the lost one.
An emailed sign-in link to a verified address, or a code from an authenticator app you set up, gives you a limited session. A limited session reaches your account but cannot add a passkey to an account that still has one.
Lost the only device with your passkey? Use a recovery code below, or recover by email. Either one lets you add a new passkey and nothing else.

We email the verified address on your account. For your safety the recovery opens only after 72 hours, and the email has a link to cancel it if it wasn't you.
